Coaching Philosophy
I was born and raised in Brandon, MB Canada, and grew up playing hockey there on the “POND”.
I recently moved to Dallas to pursue my coaching career. My main theory as a Coach is
Hard work + Fun = Product.
I expect 110% from all of my boys every time they show up to the rink. My practices and training are
very high – tempo, which always cover the systems of the game at a high impact speed. I expect my
players to be in top physical condition so they can compete every night in any game situation. I want to
ensure maximum player participation, and create a higher quality and quantity of repetitions for optimal
skill development.
I am very passionate and intense about coaching. I want each player to develop and get better every time
they get on the ice. A quote to remember, “A great man shows his greatness by the way he treats his
little men”.
